Partnering in Hope

The Partnering in Hope Committee consists of local community organizations who strive to make a difference in the community by providing learning opportunities on the subject of family violence.

This year we have separated the event into two parts. March 19th, 2013 is a community workshop that addresses how we can personally overcome trauma and it is offered free of charge. With this workshop we hope to target local community people who have been affected by trauma. On March 20th and 21st there will be a two day conference. The registration fee has been kept low with the help of sponsors and it is $120.00. During the conference the focus will be trauma. We will explore the effects of psychological trauma. We will also hear personal stories of trauma and learn how the speakers' were able to get to a place of healing. We will learn about tools available to victims of abuse and how to use them. Lastly, we will be inspired by the way the medicine wheel can be used to create wellness.
